Sales/Store Supervisor

Renumeration: NGN 130,000.00

Main Purpose of the Job

The Sales/Store Supervisor puts in place day to day operation plans to be followed to achieve the strategic plan of the organization. The sales supervisor coordinates the daily activities of the sales representatives, ensuring they are meeting their goals and builds great relationships with customers/clients. Reports to the Sales/Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the activities of the sales representatives.
  • Assist the manager to recruit, train, enumerate, and retain competent sales representatives
  • Build great relationships with customers by constantly providing the customers withadequate information on products, services, changes in company policy, changes ingovernment policy regulating the sector, and any other changes.
  • Provide reports to the manager like sales reports, lead generation reports, customercomplaints reports, and new customers’ on-boarded reports.
  • Prepare sales presentations and other sales tools.
  • Assist the managers to ensure adequate client communication, maintain contacts withclients and provide feedback.
  • Serve as a point of reference to employees in terms of showing great work ethic, habits,personal character, and professional character.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of prospects, leads, pricing, sales activities, andactive clients.
  • Attend marketing events and represent the organization.
  • Evaluate the performance of the sales representatives and seek ways to improve theirperformance.
  • Identify the trends in the market, both current, and future that are likely to affect theperformance of the organization.

Minimum Job Requirements

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business administration, financial management or related fields
  • Experience in a supervisory capacity or role.
  • Proven work experience in marketing and achieving set targets.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of sales
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal communication.
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to lead and motivate a sales team, and put in place measures to retain a greatteam.
  • Excellent selling skills, people-oriented, and ability to motivate a team.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet and word processing software.
  • Ability to close deals.
  • Ability to identify potential areas of growth and identify new business partnershipopportunities.
  • Strong organization skills and multi-tasking skills.
