Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire editorial process, from idea generation to publication, ensuring content meets our high standards.
• Lead and inspire a team of talented writers, editors, and contributors, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
• Develop and execute editorial calendars, aligning content with our brand voice and target audience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate content with marketing, design, and social media efforts.
• Maintain a sharp focus on industry trends, audience preferences, and SEO best practices to optimize content performance.
• Edit and proofread articles, providing constructive feedback to writers for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

🎯 Qualifications:

• A passionate and committed writer with a love of writing exciting copy.
• Control schedules and enforce deadlines for writers, designers etc
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail and grammar.
• Experience working with social media and constantly aware of online fashion and pop culture information is a plus.
• Ability to lead and motivate editorial teams to deliver high-quality content consistently.
• Strong understanding of content strategy, SEO principles, and audience engagement tactics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while upholding the publication’s integrity.

Non-Negotiable Strengths

• Background or previous work with media, pop culture and entertainment industry. 
• Knowledge of the street-wear, fashion and contemporary culture industry 
• Hybrid role – In office 3 times a week 
• Ability to develop compelling and visually appealing copy relating to fashion, pop trends and street wear. 
• Minimum of 3-4 years experience as a key editor.
