Job Summary

The Business Operations Manager will be the right hand of our thriving CEO. With your experience and talents, you’ll be able to lead our team of high-performing professionals to be efficient, productive, and effective. In particular, you will oversee the company’s operational processes, optimize operating capabilities, and employ strategies to ensure a memorable customer experience. You will team up with other management staff to implement business strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the CEO in setting and driving the organizational vision and operational strategies
  • Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning
  • Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met
  • Aggressively manage capital investment and expenses to ensure the company achieves investor targets relative to growth and profitability
  • Coordinate with the merchandising team to ensure timely feed to the production lines
  • Work with the finance team to compile and present the budget
  • Ability to plan and forecast requirements for new styles and ensure all resources are aligned.
  • Be responsible for the overall business strategy and success with full P&L responsibility
  • Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention
  • Strategize the complete process flow of manufacturing operations from start to finish to ensure right quality and timely delivery.
  • Manage day to day operations and employee conduct and ensure that all team members are completing their tasks and duties.
  • Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Drive the company’s operating capabilities to surpass customer satisfaction and retention and company goals.  Act as a change agent to continually ‘transform’ the business

Job Requirement

  • First degree in business administration or related field
  • At least 6 years’ experience in operations/ management experience in the retail industry (preference in fashion/ apparel/ lifestyle)
  • Product Development and Sourcing Experience an advantage
  • Proven track record of outstanding performance in a previous enterprise
  • International business experience a plus
