Our Client, a Finance & Technology (FinTech) company is seeking to hire a Technical Assistant (TA) for the MD. The TA is expected to provide specialized support to the GMD with regard to the overall objectives of the group to ensure effective functioning.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and assist the MD in the development and implementation of the strategy of the company and general management of his direct reports and business activities (internal and external)
  • Assist the MD in managing the multi-faceted responsibilities of planning, organizing and performance monitoring for business development, support units and strategic partners
  • Provide technical and financial analysis support to aid the MD’s decision-making
  • Manage and track special projects (internal and external) on behalf of the MD. (Agile project management)
  • Perform central coordination functions to ensure business activities and objectives are in sync with the overall strategic objectives.
  • Develop and monitor the performance model of the company
  • Analyze and propose required changes to internal business processes by leveraging industry knowledge. Develop the business case for enhancement of internal business processes to ensure efficiency
  • Conduct targeted research to equip the MD with timely and relevant information
  • Analyze and synthesize research findings to develop valuable insights and make strategic recommendations to the MD
  • Carry out comparative reports/forecasts as well as other reports as may be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • First degree; Additional degree and professional qualification in business/financial management would be an added advantage
