We are hiring a Solutions Architect/Tech Lead to provide advisory leadership for aligning the brand and their customer needs, with delivery excellence by working with account/project teams and by engaging into different projects.

Job responsibilities

• Work directly with the engineering/technical team to understand their requirements, business drivers, strategies, architectures, cloud adoption roadmaps, operating models, KPI and defined product specifications in-line with recommended best-practice architectures to achieve positive business outcomes
• From concept to delivery: you liaise closely with our implementation teams and provide industry expertise for successfully deploying large scale digital solutions in the enterprise
• Outline the dependencies and skills required to deliver solutions
• The Solution Architect reviews requirements by working with programme team, translating requirements into fit-for-purpose
• Challenges and then documents the solution details including risks, constraints, alternatives, and reason for proposed solution
• Understands the business background, issues and implications of the specific solution being addressed
• Ensures compliance between the system architecture and solution architecture
• Specifies user/system interfaces and translates logical designs into physical designs taking account of target environment, performance requirements and existing systems
• Lead technical and functional team members through the design and build process
• Work with the Technology Operations Team to establish Change control & release management and Software application maintenance
• Ensure compliance to standards, processes and policies set
• Ensure documentation is current and relevant to ensure stakeholders remain informed
• Provide input to business and planning forums aligning the application portfolio to meet business needs
• Identify operational ‘problems and work with teams to resolve them through planned proactive activities, communicating to senior stakeholders regularly

Job requirements

• BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• 6 years Software Engineering (Java and Solutions Architecture) Experience
• Experience designing, building, migrating, refactoring, or operating large scale and impactful IT systems/workloads/applications.
• Discern new opportunity areas to get engaged in and propose solutions
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
• Preference for tech background
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies
• Good analytical skills in linking technical and commercial implications.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
• Experience evaluating the technical resources required
• Strong presentational skills and ability to lead technical and business level conversations. With experience in presenting ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language, to diverged audiences
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with a high degree of comfort dealing with clients, PMs, Account teams, Enterprise Architects, and development teams
