Sales & Business Development Manager

  • Manage administrative tasks of ALL Business Development Processes.
  • Actively identify new markets, and market shifts to include new products and monitor competitor assessment.
  • Actively follow up on new business opportunities to include preparation for presentations.
  • Actively communicate new products to prospective clients.
  • Effectively screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and potential, including financials.
  • Actively evaluate options, resolve internal priorities, and recommend equity investments.
  • Actively close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing & negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Enhance the organization’s reputation by taking ownership of accomplishing new & different requests, while exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Responsible for market research with the aim of developing strategies for market penetration.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to create sales and marketing initiatives with the aim of determining sales targets.
  • Effective liaison with internal teams to develop and implement sales & marketing strategies.
  • Create innovative product features to meet current and future business needs.
  • Effectively analyse market trends to increase sales, emphasising identifying new opportunities for sales campaigns that can lead to increased sales.
  • Actively formulate standard proposals in conjunction with team members and functional head.
  • Manage project summary and presentation to potential customers, Initiate and build relationships with clients regarding service delivery.
  • Effectively develop a proposal development process to include proposal content and erode grammatical errors.
  • Create work plan & proposal calendars for bids
  • Manage sales, transition and delivery of the company’s products and services.
  • Maintain a database of potential customers including contact numbers and emails.
  • Coordinate the business development team in creating a business plan, business model, project budget and scope of work.
  • Assist management in deal negotiations, contract development, due diligence, and other business development projects.
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver effective customer feedback and ensure customer satisfaction while assisting in achieving team targeted revenues from current and new customers.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited University in Business Management, Marketing, Economics, Or Social Sciences
  • Minimum of 7 years in a similar role
  • Professional Qualifications / Certifications
  • Master’s in Business Administration, Executive Business Management
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Professional Certifications in Security & relevant field
  • Highly proficient in the use of Software (Resource Portal), Microsoft Office (Ms Suite), & Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
