Marketing and Corporate Communications Manager

JOB SUMMARY

Will be responsible for executing marketing and communication strategies to promote BVNDLE’s customer loyalty app. Will focus on driving app adoption, enhancing brand visibility, and engaging with both current and potential users. Will support the Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications in implementing marketing campaigns, managing communications, and overseeing promotional activities to achieve business growth and brand recognition.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

App Promotion:

Implement marketing strategies specifically designed to promote the BVNDLE customer loyalty app.

Develop and execute campaigns to drive app downloads, user engagement, and retention.

Brand Development:

Support the Head in crafting and executing brand strategies that resonate with target users.

Create marketing materials, including social media content, advertisements, and promotional offers, to boost app visibility.

Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms and touchpoints.

Public Relations:

Develop and manage public relations strategies to enhance BVNDLE’s reputation and visibility.

Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry bloggers to secure coverage for the app.

Prepare press releases, manage media inquiries, and handle crisis communication if necessary.

User Engagement and Feedback:

Coordinate with app developers to understand new features and leverage them in marketing efforts.

Develop strategies to engage with app users through surveys

    • Analyze user feedback and app reviews to identify areas for improvement and inform marketing strategies.
    • Implement user retention programs and promotions to enhance user satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Create and manage content for social media platforms to drive awareness and engagement with the app.
    • Monitor social media trends and user interactions to optimize content and campaign performance.
    • Engage with followers, respond to comments, and manage the app’s online reputation.
  • Event Coordination:
    • Plan and execute events, webinars, or promotions that promote the app and engage potential users.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful event execution.
    • Evaluate event success and gather feedback to improve future initiatives.
  • Website and Digital Presence:
    • Manage and update BVNDLE’s website to ensure it effectively promotes the app and aligns with marketing campaigns.
    • Oversee the creation of landing pages, blog posts, and other content related to app promotion.
    • Analyze website performance metrics to optimize user experience and drive app downloads.
  • Budget and Resource Management:
    • Assist in developing and managing the marketing and communications budget.
    • Ensure efficient allocation of resources for marketing activities and promotional campaigns.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, user preferences, and competitor activities related to customer loyalty apps.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on research to refine marketing strategies.

Approved MCC framework and 100% implementation of approved strategies for the above

Public Relations

  • Number and quality of media mentions and articles in line with the approved benchmark.
  • Crisis Response Time: Average time taken to respond to and manage a crisis.
  • Percentage of positive versus negative media coverage.

Sustainability/CSR

  • 100% implementation of CSR in line with the annual CSR Plan
  • Timeliness and quality of annual sustainability reports.
  • Quantifiable impact of sustainability initiatives (e.g., reduction in carbon footprint, community impact metrics).

Internal and External Communications

  • 100% engagement and impression of employees with internal communications.

  • Zero messaging inconsistencies identified across communication channels.

Social Media Engagements

  • 30% Increase in followers/subscribers across social media platforms.
  • Engagement Rate: Likes, shares, comments, and overall engagement on social media posts.
  • Impressions and reach of social media content in line with agreed benchmark

Website Management

  • Engagement Metrics: Average session duration, bounce rate, and pages per session.
  • Content Updates: Frequency and quality of website content updates.

  • Increase in app downloads and active user engagement.

  • Quality and quantity of media coverage and public relations efforts.

COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong understanding of app marketing and digital promotion strategies.
  • Excellent communication and content creation skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management and digital marketing tools.
  • Analytical skills to assess campaign performance and user feedback.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced startup environment.

SPECIFICATION/QUALIFICATION:

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably in a startup or tech environment with experience in app promotion.

Professional Membership: Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., CIM) is an advantage but not required
