Lead, Sales and Marketing

Job Location: Ilupeju, Lagos State

Our Client, a Technology-driven solutions company is looking for a Team Lead, Sales and Marketing who will be responsible for developing and implementing the organization’s strategy for Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Key Account Retention, and Growth. In conjunction with the Divisional Heads and Product Sales Executives/Key Account Managers, the incumbent will build up the business by identifying new business prospects and selling products to them; maintaining relationships with current clients and building and maintain relationships with new clients; developing and implementing growth
strategies for all divisions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sells company products to local and/or national accounts through sales calls and sales presentations to both existing and prospective customers. This includes interacting directly with the customer, determining the customer needs, and evaluating sales potential.
  • Establishes, maintains, and coordinates an effective partnership with the client.
  • Develops quotes, product and service bids, and makes value-added sales proposals to existing customers, as well as to potential customers.
  • Attends Capital Market events and position the company as a trusted brand within the Industry.
  • Acts as a liaison between the customer and the company to resolve issues and close sales.
  • Ensures the organizations sales targets are met and maintains a client base by sellingservices and/or products to both existing and potential customers.
  • Evaluates customer needs, and identifies the proper resources to accomplish the goal.
  • Responsible for growing sales revenue for both product and service.
  • Responsible for growing targeted markets.
  • Manage entire selling process from forecasting to actual product delivery and payment collection for all the key accounts
  • Lead the design, development and implementation of the company’s sales plan.
  • Maintain close relationship and communication with existing key accounts to understand their needs regarding technical, financial, logistic and marketing support, and organize internal resources to meet those needs and identify new business opportunities.
  • Responsible for closing sales and utilizing cross-functional assistance as needed, i.e.,
    Consulting, Marketing and Proposal Services, etc.
  • Drive of all forms of marketing to accelerate sales, for example, interactive marketing,
    direct marketing campaigns, advertising, sales collateral, press releases, and executive
    presentations.
  • Develop execution plan for thought leadership initiatives, by using a wide range of content
    in order to build awareness and credibility for the brand, simultaneously establishing the
    organization as a thought leader in the market.
  • Ensure all branding programs are aligned with the overall objectives of the organization
    and that they are optimized and relevant to multiple audiences.
  • Work closely with other departments in formulation and delivery of both the offline and
    online marketing elements/strategies. These elements are inclusive but not limited to brand
    design, partnership marketing, content, public relations, and advertising.

  • BSc. in any related field and an MBA.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in at least 3 of the following: Capital Market or Financial
  • Services Sales and Business Development, Fintech Sales, IT Platform Sales or Technology
