Job Role: Business Development Specialist/Developer
Salary: 150-200k
Location: Lekki phase 1
Our client, an event planning company seeks to hire a Business Development Specialist who would be responsible for identifying opportunities for business growth and optimizing marketing strategies. The ideal candidate is required to play an administrative/Business Development Role, which will include but not limited to preparation of proposals, preparation of budget for presentations, responding to mails.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop effective presentations and proposals and be able to deliver these to decision makers.
- Participate in marketing activities to increase brand awareness and gain new clients
- Attend trade and public events for networking and to secure new business opportunities to create a pipeline of sales opportunities
- Create new businesses for the company and prepare presentation for business meetings with new clients
- Maintain valued client relationships
- Identifying new clients by researching and creating networking opportunities.
- Conduct business dealings with prospects in a way that creates a superior client/prospect experience to set the stage for future sales.
- Draft detailed proposals for prospective clients
- Liaise with sales and marketing teams to publicize and promote the company.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 3-4years experience in business development / sales gained within the event management industry or relevant field.
- Bachelors Degree in business, marketing or any relevant field.
- The ideal candidate is expected to possess strong graphic skills
- The ideal candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office(Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, proposal writing, documentation and presentation
- Strong communication skills and IT fluency
- Confident, smart and proactive
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, and handle uncertainty.
