Job Qualification

• The candidate must be an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN) with a minimum of B.Sc/HND in Finance/Accounting or Economics/Business Administration
• Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in a Financial Institution

Job Description

• Payments Processing; Requisition & Cheques
• Preparation of cheques and fund transfer letters
• Review of Bank Statement with Cashbook Entries
• Preparation of Bank Position Statement
• Drafting of outgoing letters and correspondences
• Preparation of cheque confirmation letters
• Maintenance of Payment Register & Vouchers
• Posting of all outward payments into the system
• Regulatory Remittances (PAYE & PENSION)
• Preparation of Staff Payroll
• Posting of income, fees, charges, dividend etc into the system
• Any other jobs as assigned by the HOD & GMD
• Assist in updating of the fixed asset register and schedule
• Marketing of Company products and services
• Monthly Bank Reconciliation
• Preparation of Adjustment Journals for Reconciling Items
• Preparation of Monthly, Quarterly & Annual accounts for the Bank
