Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting the organization’s business processes in compliance with laws and regulations, professional standards, international standards, and accepted business practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all the essential and important guidelines are put in proper place accurately adhering to industry rules and regulations
- Conduct internal audits and reviews at regular intervals to ensure that compliance procedures are regularly followed. Conduct environmental audits adhering to environmental standards
- Ensure that all the employees are thoroughly updated about the organization’s policies, regulations, and processes and ensure all tasks are done with higher accuracy.
- Organize workshops and training sessions to educate and update employees on the organization’s compliance policies, regulations, and processes
- Conduct compliance risk assessment training workshop
- Resolve employee issues about the legal risk compliances
- Advise internal management and business partners regarding the implementation of compliance programs
- Revise rules, reports, and procedures at regular intervals to recognize the risks and develop risk management strategies.
- Maintain records of compliance practices
- Establish relationships with important external bodies and stay up-to-date on the changes in industry requirements and all relevant regulations
- Prepare risk management reports for top-level management based on internal reviews and advise the executives on risk mitigation measures and implementation of adequatecompliance program
- Follow up on compliance issues that require investigation
- Evaluate compliance systems and ensuring adequate software is in place and give reports on compliance
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, economics or related field.
- 10 years of experience in risk management or compliance, including exposure to technology industry, financial services, and/or project management
- Must have taken and passed ICAN Exam.
- Prior experience in a financial service industry
- Industry experience with governance and compliance risk management
- Audit or consulting experience in identifying risk and controls across business processe
- Risk assessment capabilities: Knowledge of major steps involved in risk management and ability to implement them
- Comprehensive knowledge about security policies such as ISO standards, control, and abuse policies, regulations, monitoring, evaluation, review, and report associated with auditing
- Strong knowledge of industry processes and regulations
- Knowledge of business and IT
- Compliance certifications will be considered a plus [CCEP, CISSP, CRCM]
